Fabienne Schlumpf, a triple-vaccinated Swiss marathon record holder and Olympic athlete, was diagnosed with myocarditis and may never race again.

The 31-year-old Swiss runner disclosed her diagnosis of myocarditis on her Instagram account Thursday. At the moment, she is not permitted to participate in any sports or training.
