Ebola-like hemorrhagic fever virus or Marburg virus in China with only 50% survival rate?

Dr. Robert Malone joined Steve Bannon on The War Room to discuss the latest viral outbreak in China, that many experts worried.

Dr. Malone on Jan 11 told the War Room that he heard the disease spreading across China is reportedly an “Ebola-like hemorrhagic fever virus.”

Dr. Malone said: 

“They are using language that this is a hemorrhagic fever virus. If that’s the case then it would be very odd that this would be something caused by the Coronavirus. That terminology is usually used for viruses in the family of Marburg and Ebola. So this is something that many people have feared is the development of a rapidly spreading Ebola-like hemorrhagic fever virus. But we have not knowledge of whether that is going on here or not.”

For Marburg virus, World Heath Organization reported:

• Marburg virus disease (MVD), formerly known as Marburg haemorrhagic fever, is a severe, often fatal illness in humans.
• The virus causes severe viral haemorrhagic fever in humans.
• The average MVD case fatality rate is around 50%. Case fatality rates have varied from 24% to 88% in past outbreaks depending on virus strain and case management.

China reports hemorrhagic fever cases

Earlier, Global Times (a CCP mouthpiece) reported on Dec 19 that:

Since the beginning of winter, Xi’an, Northwest China’s Shaanxi Province has recorded a series of hemorrhagic fever cases, a natural epidemic disease with a high fatality rate. Medical experts said that rodents are the main source of infection, and called on the public not to panic as vaccinations can effectively prevent and control the disease, while human-to-human transmission is basically impossible.

Experts said that hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome, also known as epidemic hemorrhagic fever, is caused by Hantavirus, with rodents as the main source of infection.

It can be transmitted by a mouse bite, by eating food or water that a mouse has crawled over, or by contact with infected mouse blood, urine or feces.

Hemorrhagic fever is an acute infectious disease characterized by fever, bleeding and renal damage, and it can lead to death in serious cases.

The symptoms of epidemic hemorrhagic fever and ordinary flu are similar in their early stages. As a result, many patients may mistakenly believe they have a common cold. Medical specialists in Xi’an encouraged patients to seek treatment immediately due to the quick onset and progression of hemorrhagic fever.

Chinese city reports community transmission, hemorrhagic fever

After China lockdown millions in Xi’an city in northwest Shaanxi province, reports claim there has been “multiple community transmission chains” including hemorrhagic fever cases.

China’s state-run Global Times quoting public health officials reported that it is a “grim and complicated epidemic situation”.

The Chinese daily said the hemorrhagic fever “shared similarity in early stage symptoms with COVID-19”. The report said there were also cases imported from abroad coming in from international flights.

Chinese authorities have put 13 million people in Xi’an on lockdown while applying strict COVID-19 rules. All domestic flights have been cancelled with just three international flights allowed. Train travel to destinations across China has also been suspended.

The newspaper informed that Xi’an is the third Chinese city with a population of over 10 million to experience a lockdown after Wuhan last year and Shijiazhuang in north China’s Hebei province earlier this year.
