Donald Trump Refuses to Back Down Following Mar-a-Lago Raid, Releases Defiant New Statement

Former President Donald Trump announced in a post on his TruthSocial app that he and his legal team would be pursuing “a motion in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida strongly asserting my rights, including under the Fourth Amendment of our Constitution, regarding the unnecessary, unwarranted, and unAmerican Break-in by dozens of FBI agents, and others, of my home, Mar-A-Lago, in Palm Beach, Florida.”

All of this comes in the wake of the unprecedented raid on his home a couple of weeks ago.

In what appeared to be a slough of confiscations from the former president’s home, ranging from passports to other items not mentioned in the initial warrant, Trump’s statement read, “They took documents covered by attorney-client and executive privilege, which is not allowed.” The former president went further, demanding that “the Department of ‘Justice’ be instructed to immediately STOP the review of documents illegally seized from my home. ALL documents have been previously declassified.”

President Trump is now calling for a “SPECIAL MASTER,” an individual who serves as a subordinate to a judge, ensuring judicial orders are upheld and sometimes providing counsel.

In the statement released by the former president, he detailed how the FBI brought in a “cracker” to break into his personal safe and demanded that “security cameras be turned off,” which was then denied by officials onsite at Mar-A-Lago.

It is unclear whether or not the court will accept Trump’s requests. However, he added that he wanted the “DOJ be forced to turn over a REAL, without ‘plants,’ inventory of my property that was taken and disclose where that property is now located.”

President Trump also mentioned in his statement that he wanted “to get the documents back” in order to provide them “to the future National Archives until they are required for the future Donald J. Trump Presidential Library and Museum.”

The former president concluded his statement by commenting that he “will never stop fighting for the American people, our Country, and the Rule of Law.” Also referencing the now famous phrase “Make America Great Again” at the bottom of the page.
