Ivana Trump is found dead in her Manhattan apartment aged 73.
According to her ex-husband, former President Donald Trump, who revealed the devastating news of her demise on his Truth Social account on Thursday afternoon, the former model passed away in her residence on New York City’s Upper East Side.
Donald Trump made the announcement on social media.
He wrote: “I am very saddened to inform all of those that loved her, of which there are many, that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York City.
“She was a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led a great and inspirational life.
“Her pride and joy were her three children, Donald Jr, Ivanka, and Eric. She was so proud of them, as we were all so proud of her.
“Rest In Peace, Ivana!”
Eric Trump confirmed his mother’s passing
Eric, Ivana’s son, confirmed the news of his mother’s passing in a statement issued on behalf of the family: ‘Our mother was an incredible woman – a force in business, a world-class athlete, a radiant beauty, and caring mother and friend.
‘Ivana Trump was a survivor. She fled from communism and embraced this country. She taught her children about grit and toughness, compassion and determination.
‘She will be dearly missed by her mother, her three children and ten grandchildren.’
Ivana Trump’s death
According to TMZ, Ivana went into cardiac arrest shortly after lunch on Thursday, with the source stating that someone at her residence called the NYPD at 12.30PM ET.
Ivana was last seen in New York City on June 22, when she was brought to a hair salon after leaving her Upper East Side residence.
Images depicted the socialite being accompanied by a personal assistant, who offered Ivana her arm as they proceeded to her hair appointment.
